Notice at Collection
AKRA Appliance Repair collects the information below from you, your browser, and our service and communications providers. Required form fields let us respond to your service request; email and promotional codes are optional. Please do not include payment card details, passwords, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information in the issue description.
- Contact and service information: name, phone number, optional email, ZIP code/city or service address, appliance brand/type, issue description, promotional code, and details you send in later correspondence. We use these to respond, assess service availability, schedule and perform approved work, and keep service records.
- Communications and audio: calls to AKRA are recorded and stored in our account with our telephone/CRM provider. We use the recordings and communications to review conversations, confirm service details, and resolve questions about requests.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser/device information, request time, requested page, and anti-bot verification results. Our hosting and security providers process these to deliver the website, verify submissions, and limit abuse.
- Optional measurement data: with your permission, page activity, phone-link clicks, form interaction events, browser/device information, cookie identifiers, and advertising click IDs. We use these to measure the website and advertising. The form's name, contact details, address, and issue description are not sent by our conversion-tracking code to Google.
- Privacy choices: we save your optional-measurement preference and its date in your browser (permission for up to 180 days; opt-out for 366 days) so we can apply it on later visits.
Service records and communications are kept according to the time needed to handle the request, provide service and warranty support, meet recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Technical/security records are retained according to operational and abuse-prevention needs and provider settings. Optional identifiers last according to their cookie or provider settings and can be restricted as described in our Cookie Policy. See the retention section below for details.
We do not offer service-request details or call recordings for sale. Optional advertising technology may involve disclosures treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under some privacy laws. You can turn it off before it loads using . Rejecting optional measurement does not prevent service requests or calls.
Who receives information
Information is accessible to AKRA personnel handling requests and service, and to providers involved in operating our business. These include website hosting and database providers, Cloudflare for form security, Slack for internal service-request notifications, and our telephone/CRM provider for call routing and recording storage. A recording stored in our CRM account is processed by that provider even though AKRA does not publish it or distribute it to outside recipients.
When optional measurement is allowed, Google receives advertising and website-interaction data. Google may process information across websites and services under its own policies. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites. We disable advertising personalization in the site's Google consent settings.
We may disclose relevant records when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce an approved agreement, or protect people's rights and safety. Provider systems and support teams may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Service requests, calls, and messages
Submitting the service form asks AKRA to respond about that request. It does not subscribe you to advertising SMS or email, authorize unrelated marketing, or confirm an appointment or repair. We are not currently using the form to enroll people in marketing campaigns. Any future marketing enrollment will require its own disclosures and applicable consent.
Calls are recorded in our telephone/CRM account. You may contact us by email or through the online form if you prefer not to be recorded. This website notice is separate from any notice and consent needed when a call is recorded; clicking a telephone link or accepting cookies is not consent to recording.
Retention and security
Retention depends on the record and purpose: an unresolved service request, an approved repair, a warranty inquiry, a recorded call, and a security log can require different retention periods. We consider the status of the request, applicable legal and accounting requirements, and whether a record is needed to resolve a dispute. Contact us to ask about the retention or deletion of a particular record.
The website attempts to remove direct contact details and the issue description from the intake database after successful internal notification. That does not delete the notification, CRM records, call recordings, backups, or records retained when delivery fails. We do not promise that every copy is automatically deleted after a fixed number of days.
We use safeguards including encrypted web connections and submission verification. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Send only information needed for your request.
Your privacy choices and requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you supplied by emailing support@akraappliancerepair.com or calling (949) 666-8689. Tell us what you are requesting and enough information to locate the record. Please do not email identity documents or financial information. We may ask for proportionate verification before releasing or changing personal records; advertising opt-outs do not require identity verification or an account.
Depending on the law that applies to you and to our business, you may have rights to know and obtain personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete information subject to exceptions, opt out of sale/sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive information. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf; we may need proof of authorization. We respond within applicable legal timeframes and do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights. Some records must be kept for legal obligations, security, or completion of requested services.
Use to disable optional website measurement. Your selection applies to this browser; use the control on other browsers/devices too. Contact us for a request concerning other identifiable business records.
We honor browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track (DNT) signals by keeping optional measurement off, including when a prior browser choice allowed it. The privacy controls display when a signal is honored. If browser storage is disabled, a manual choice may last only for the current page. Essential security processing still operates.
Maps, external links, and children
The Contact page's Google map loads only when you choose “Load Google Map.” Loading it sends your IP address and browser information to Google and may allow Google to use its own cookies. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Cloudflare Turnstile, when configured, runs when you interact with the service form to protect submissions; it is separate from optional advertising measurement.

Our services and website are directed to adults arranging appliance repair, not children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We will publish revisions here with an updated effective date. For material changes to collection or use, we will provide any additional notice or consent required before applying the changed practice. Review this page periodically.
